At Entyre Care, we believe that everyone deserves to live a dignified and independent life at home. To that end, we support friends and families in providing home care for their beloved ones with professional training and fair compensation. In particular, our mission is to ensure that no caregiver feels overwhelmed or unsupported.

The Role

The Head of Provider & Market Strategy is Entyre's first dedicated payer hire and one of the highest-leverage seats in the company. Every dollar we bill flows through a Medicaid program or a managed care organization. Today those relationships live with our state GMs. Tomorrow they live with you. You will own every MCO relationship we have, build the payer function from zero, and turn our patchwork of contracts into an asset. This isn't account management; it's deal-making.

Entyre's Core

Payers are the rails our mission runs on. Caregivers only get paid when we are in-network, credentialed, and contracted at rates that work. As Head of Network Strategy, you make sure nothing stands between a family and their first paycheck: not a closed network, not a stalled credentialing file, not a lowball rate.

What You Need

This is a payer-native role. You have sat on the other side of the table, in network or contracting leadership at a national Medicaid payer, and you know how plans actually decide. You know why a plan says "no network need" and who inside can reverse it. You bring national relationships you can activate in week one, and you still redline contracts yourself. You are a

player-coach: you close the deals personally while building the machine underneath you. Our founder will personally review every submission.

What You'll Do

•  Own the national relationships with UnitedHealthcare, Aetna/CVS, Centene, Elevance, and Molina. One counterpart across all our states instead of five separate conversations.

•  Build the full payer inventory: every contract, rate, term, and renewal date across our markets. Then kill the inconsistencies.

•  Break into closed networks in new states and turn network-sufficiency denials into signed contracts.

•  Negotiate rates armed with our outcomes data on hospitalization avoidance and caregiver retention. Make Entyre a preferred partner, not a line item.

•  Stand up the operating cadence with our top plans: joint operating committees, quarterly business reviews, escalation paths that actually work.

•  Build the contracting and credentialing engine, then hire the team to run it.

•  Partner with our state GMs on a clean split: you own the paper and the executive relationship, they own local operations and service delivery.

•  Feed payer intelligence back into our rate advocacy and policy work in every state.

Job requirements

What You Need to Bring

•  3+ years in Medicaid managed care, with network or contracting leadership on the payer side (UHC Community & State, Aetna Medicaid, Centene, or similar). Multi-state provider-side payer leadership can work too, if the relationships are national.

•  A Rolodex you can activate on day one, and the judgment to know which door to knock on.

•  Deal rigor: you negotiate and redline contracts yourself, and you have the wins to prove it.

•  Builder DNA: you have created a function from zero, not just inherited machinery.

•  Data-driven chops: you turn quality outcomes into rate increases.

•  A "get shit done" attitude with creative fixes for messy problems.

•  LTSS and HCBS know-how is a superpower.

•  Willingness to travel and show up in the room. Deals like this don't close over email.

Perks

•  Ground-floor stakes: build a function, a team, and a legacy company from the trenches.

•  A seat at the table: you report directly to the founder.

•  Real stakes where we change lives, not just numbers.

•  Support from our world-class advisors and investors.

•  Momentum from a business where demand is already surging.

How We Operate – Non-Negotiable:

  • “Insanely Great” for Families – Delivered Now: Relentlessly solve caregiver needs with excellence and speed.
  • Speed is King – Ruthless Focus: Eliminate distractions and execute on critical objectives with urgency.
  • Raise the Bar: Demand A-player performance and continuous improvement from yourself and your team.
  • The Speed Algorithm: Question, delete, simplify, and accelerate every process. Remove bottlenecks and friction.
  • Act Like Owners – Bold Bets, Fast Action: Take initiative, make bold decisions, and move fast to drive results for families.
